Haven't done this for a couple of weeks now, so I should say this is our choice for two weeks' worth :)

I love how the cover makes it known it's an entirely mermaid themed book. The sea, the way the lovers are perched on the rocks, even May's gown which in my eye is shaped like a mermaid's tail just reminds me of all those times I watched and loved The Little Mermaid! I don't think we get a singing crab here though ;)

I haven't done WoW for weeks, so this one is very special - it's the book I'm dying to read (pun intended)!

QUEEN OF THE DEAD (Stacey Kade)

It's Alona and Will part deux! This is obviously my most anticipated book of 2011 - it's pretty self-explanatory why, right? I mean, just look at the cover! Will's 'bite me' look, Alona and her 'I solemnly swear I am up to no good' expression, plus we get to see a very pissed off Alona Dare.

Like I said, I'm dyiiiing for this!

My pick today just had to be romance related! The announcement of the royal engagement yesterday made feel even more giddy about romance than I usual am - which says a lot because I am a terrible romantic. The announcement was breaking news from 4pm to midnight last night on BBC, so maybe I'm just suffering from an engagement overdose? Lol

When I first read the description, I was immediately riveted by the originality of the plot - it sounds like a psychological adventure to me ... with a slightly murderous edge. I love the premise:) What do you think?

I am so very excited for this title! My sister gushes about Before I die and this one holds a premise just as good. And I loove the cover - don't you just feel the longing for their forbidden love? *sigh*

I hope they take out the Before I Die cover at the bottom though, too bright for the cover and a little distracting. I'm sure they can do with a one liner to replace that, right?

What do you think? It does ring a bell, right? I'm only just beginning to appreciate dystopian novels, so boy am I excited for this title. And I love female heroines in dystopian novels best - so there we go!

Intriguing right? I think this might be the type of book that is both reflective and thrilling. I also think there would be a lot readers can take in from this book. I can't wait to read and find out!

Firstly, I think the cover is very pretty! Okay, so I don't like the flowers on the bottom much, and I think they crowd the cover, but yup I still like it!

Secondly, there seems to be lots of dancing, palaces and handsome army captains in this novel. Who can say no to that? Not me, no no.

Because it's my last day as a teen, my pick for today is literally my most awaited book:

CRESCENDO (Becca Fitzpatrick)

Nora should have known her life was far from perfect. Despite starting a relationship with her guardian angel, Patch (who, title aside, can be described as anything but angelic), and surviving an attempt on her life, things are not looking up. Patch is starting to pull away and Nora can't figure out if it's for her best interest or if his interest has shifted to her arch-enemy, Marcie Millar. Not to mention that Nora is haunted by images of her father and she becomes obsessed with finding out what really happened to him that night he left for Portland and never came home.


The further Nora delves into the mystery of her father's death, the more she comes to question if her Nephilim bloodline has something to do with it as well as why she seems to be in danger more than the average girl. Since Patch isn't answering her questions and seems to be standing in her way, she has to start finding the answers on her own. Relying too heavily on the fact that she has a guardian angel puts Nora at risk again and again. But can she really count on Patch or is he hiding secrets darker than she can even imagine?
