Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Jill @ Breaking the Spine.
GIRL, STOLEN (April Henry)
Sixteen year-old Cheyenne Wilder is sleeping in the back of a car while her mom fills her prescription at the pharmacy. Before Cheyenne realizes what's happening, their car is being stolen--with her inside! Griffin hadn’t meant to kidnap Cheyenne, all he needed to do was steal a car for the others. But once Griffin's dad finds out that Cheyenne’s father is the president of a powerful corporation, everything changes—now there’s a reason to keep her. What Griffin doesn’t know is that Cheyenne is not only sick with pneumonia, she is blind. How will Cheyenne survive this nightmare, and if she does, at what price?
To be published 28th September 2010 by Henry Holt and Co.
Intriguing right? I think this might be the type of book that is both reflective and thrilling. I also think there would be a lot readers can take in from this book. I can't wait to read and find out!

Ooh, I like the synopsis! Definitely intriguing. Great WoW pick!
My goodness. This is different. Saw something about this somewhere, but it didn't say the girl was blind! Looking forward to this! Thanks.
Intriguing indeed! I liked the whole "accident" aspect of the kidnapping. Love the cover too. Great pick!
This book sounds really great. Such an interesting take on a typical carjacking/kidnapping.
